Access is by boat only, and the site is subject to strong currents, making it suitable for intermediate skill levels. Visibility varies between 5 and 20 metres. Hazards include cold water, boat traffic, low visibility, sea urchins, and strong currents. Typical dive times are approximately 45 minutes.

Goose Group is a remote island site in Canada featuring extensive kelp forests and reef topography. The area is characterised by cold water temperatures ranging from 7°C to 15°C and visibility typically between 12 and 18 metres. Due to the 15,000-metre distance from shore, boat access is required. Divers and snorkellers should be prepared for strong currents, which are a primary hazard at this location. The site is suitable for intermediate skill levels. The habitat supports a variety of temperate marine life, including various cephalopods, marine mammals, and diverse invertebrates common to the region.
