Luxembourg is a landlocked country, so all diving here is freshwater diving in lakes, reservoirs, and flooded former gravel workings. Sites range from shallow beginner lakes in the south to deeper reservoir dives reaching thirty metres in the north. Conditions vary considerably: visibility can swing from a couple of metres to fifteen metres depending on rainfall and season, and temperatures are cool to cold below the thermocline year-round. Divers come for submerged structures including ruins, a stone bridge, and artificial reefs, and the sites are well served by eight local operators. Late spring to early autumn offers the most comfortable conditions.
