The site mix suits beginners and intermediate divers, with entry by both boat and shore, and sites range from shallow reef structures to wrecks reaching thirty metres. Water temperatures are coldest in the cooler months, falling into the mid-to-upper teens between January and March, which calls for a full wetsuit. From late spring through September temperatures climb steeply into the low thirties, making exposure protection a matter of comfort rather than necessity. October to April brings the most settled visibility conditions and is considered the best period to dive.
