Andorra is a landlocked, high-altitude freshwater diving destination. All sites are mountain lakes, with depths ranging from shallow reef structures to around twenty metres at the deeper alpine lakes. Water remains cold year-round, making dry suits standard equipment across the season, and divers must set their computers to altitude mode to manage decompression correctly. The sites suit a spread of abilities: some are used for beginner training and buoyancy practice, while the higher lakes are suited to more experienced divers comfortable with cold-water procedures. One operator, based in Andorra la Vella, serves all three sites.
