The South West Coast of Jersey and Guernsey faces the Atlantic, with sites that mix cave systems, walls, drift dives, and wrecks. The three sites in our database range from shallow cave and reef terrain to wall dives reaching forty metres, and they are suited to intermediate and advanced divers. Access is by boat or a combination of boat and shore. Visibility can be excellent, typically between ten and thirty metres. Water temperatures are relatively mild compared to other UK regions, peaking around seventeen or eighteen degrees Celsius in late summer, and staying above ten degrees in winter. Strong tidal currents are a key feature and require careful dive planning.
