Port Kembla lies on the Tasman Sea coast of New South Wales, close to Wollongong. Our database holds one site here, Martin Island, which offers reef and wall topography accessible only by boat. Water is cool throughout the year, coldest from mid-winter through early spring. Species recorded include spotted wobbegong, crested bullhead shark, common stingray, common Sydney octopus, and a variety of wrasses and reef fish typical of New South Wales temperate waters.
