Kent's sites sit in the English Channel, where the area's wreck diving is the main draw. The six sites in our database span shore-entry reefs at Botany Bay to deeper boat-access wrecks including HMS Brazen and the First World War submarine UB-78. Depths range from very shallow to thirty-five metres, covering beginner and intermediate levels. Water temperatures run cold in winter, around eight or nine degrees Celsius, and warm to around eighteen degrees in summer. Visibility is highly variable: chalk reef sites can be turbid, while offshore wrecks can offer significantly better conditions.
