Marinduque sits in the Sibuyan Sea and offers shallow reef diving suitable for beginners and intermediate divers. The three sites in our database are all reef formations, reaching a maximum of fifteen metres, and include the rock arch at Ungab on Mongpong Island, the shallow sandbar at Palad, and the coral gardens off Maniwaya Island. Water temperatures are warm throughout the year, peaking in the warmer months and dipping only slightly toward the high twenties in cooler months. Recorded species include whitetip reef shark, bluespotted fantail ray, napoleon wrasse, robust ghost pipefish, and various frogfish.

Temperatures stay warm year-round, rising to the low thirties in the middle months and settling around the upper twenties from November through March. Conditions across the three sites are generally calm with mild currents, making them accessible for less experienced divers.
