Maniwaya Island Reef is a shallow reef system situated five kilometres off the western coast of Maniwaya Island. Accessible only by boat, the site features a variety of hard coral species across depths ranging from 2 to 15 metres, with an average depth of 8 metres. Conditions are generally calm with mild currents and visibility typically between 10 and 25 metres. The site is suitable for beginners and offers a typical duration of 45 minutes. Facilities available nearby include parking, toilets, showers, changing rooms, equipment rental, and a dive shop. Divers and snorkellers should be aware of sharp coral present throughout the reef.

Palad Sandbar is a submerged sandbar located north of Maniwaya Island in the Philippines. Accessible only by boat, this site is suitable for beginners and snorkelers, featuring an average depth of two metres with a range of one to three metres. The topography consists of sandy bottoms interspersed with small coral patches. Conditions are generally mild with visibility ranging from 10 to 20 metres. Water temperatures fluctuate between 27C and 31C throughout the year. As the sandbar appears during low tide, it provides a shallow environment for observing the local marine habitat.
