The Revillagigedo Archipelago sits in the Pacific Ocean and is accessible only by liveaboard. Its six sites in our database include the exposed oceanic pinnacle Roca Partida, the seamount El Boiler, the drift and wall sites of Cabo Pearce and Punta Tosca, and the canyon and reef of El Canyon and The Aquarium. Currents are strong across all sites and can shift rapidly; surge is a consistent factor, especially near the surface. Species recorded here include whale sharks, bottlenose dolphins, silvertip sharks, whitetip reef sharks, dusky sharks, marble rays, and Pacific cownose rays. All sites are boat-entry and suited to advanced or experienced intermediate divers.

Temperatures sit in the low-to-mid twenties through winter and spring, climbing into the high twenties by late summer and early autumn before easing again. Thermoclines are a regular feature regardless of season, so a wetsuit suitable for cooler water at depth is advisable.
