El Boiler is a seamount pinnacle located off San Benedicto Island in the Revillagigedo Archipelago. The site rises from depth to within 6 metres of the surface, with depths extending to 35 metres. Divers experience strong currents that sweep across the pinnacle, requiring solid buoyancy control. Surge and swell are common, particularly near the surface, which can push divers toward sharp coral and rock. Visibility typically ranges from 10 to 30 metres, though thermoclines often occur between 20 and 30 metres. This site is accessible only by boat and is suited for intermediate divers capable of managing variable conditions and currents.
