The HMS Pandora Wreck region sits on the outer Great Barrier Reef in Far North Queensland, with the nearest departure point being Seisia. Both sites here demand advanced diving skills. The wreck itself is an eighteenth-century British naval vessel that sank in seventeen ninety-one, lying at depths of thirty to thirty-five metres alongside wall and reef structure. The adjacent Washing Machine site is a strong drift dive where currents can reach three knots, swirling and unpredictable. Visibility ranges from ten to thirty metres depending on conditions. Species recorded include scalloped hammerheads, silvertip sharks, potato bass, and painted frogfish. The remote location and current exposure make planning and boat support essential.
