Sudbury Reef is an outer reef site in the Cairns region, reached by boat charter, and its main site is Sudburry East Wall, where the reef drops from a shallow top to around thirty metres. The site is rated suitable for beginners, with visibility typically ranging from good to excellent. Soft coral cover is notable, and parrotfish are well represented among the species here, alongside Napoleon wrasse, giant trevally, harlequin sweetlips, and barrier reef clownfish. Water is warmest in the wet season and cools through the mid-year winter months.
