Wreck Bay lies within Booderee National Park on the southern headland of Jervis Bay, New South Wales, where sheltered estuarine and coastal waters meet the Tasman Sea. The one site in our database is the Itata, a shallow wreck sitting in only a few metres of water and accessible by both boat and shore. Visibility on the Itata is characteristically very low, making buoyancy control and wreck-navigation skills essential. Despite the challenging conditions, the wreck hosts a varied community of species including spotted wobbegong, green sea turtle, giant cuttlefish, fiddler ray, dusky shark, and eastern red scorpionfish.
