Green Cape lies on the far south coast of New South Wales near Eden, where the Pacific Ocean meets a remote and largely undeveloped coastline. Bittangabee Bay, the one site in our database, is a shore-entry reef dive spanning shallow to moderate depths. Visibility typically sits between five and fifteen metres, and the bay's relatively sheltered aspect makes it accessible for beginners. Water temperatures are cooler here than further north, peaking in the low twenties in summer and dropping to the mid-teens in winter. Spotted wobbegong, Port Jackson shark, fiddler ray, eagle ray, and a range of wrasses are all recorded at the site.
