Diving in Peel Castle and Fenella Beach

Peel Castle and Fenella Beach is a shore dive on the western side of the Isle of Man, offering a varied underwater landscape of reef, kelp forest, and small caves. Depths range from eight to twenty metres, and the site is rated for intermediate divers; entry at Fenella Beach can involve surf and surge, so conditions at the surface should be assessed before entering. Visibility fluctuates between five and fifteen metres and can be affected by sea state. Harbour seals are regularly encountered here, and the species list also includes conger eel, catshark, dogfish, monkfish, and European spiny lobster.
