The Peel and West Coast area of the Isle of Man is represented in our database by a single shore-entry site at Peel Castle and Fenella Beach. The dive combines reef, kelp forest, and cave sections at depths from eight to twenty metres, and is rated for intermediate divers. Entry at Fenella Beach requires attention to surf and surge. Water temperatures are cold year-round, sitting around nine degrees Celsius in late winter and reaching only fourteen or fifteen degrees in late summer. Conger eels, catshark, dogfish, bobtail squid, and harbour seals are among the species recorded here.
