Diving in Ibiza Town & South

Ibiza Town and South sits on the Mediterranean Sea, where rocky reefs, Posidonia oceanica seagrass meadows, walls, and pinnacles make up the majority of sites. Visibility commonly runs between ten and thirty metres, and water temperature stays cool through winter before climbing to its warmest in late summer. The area's most talked-about draw is the Don Pedro, a nearly hundred-and-fifty-metre shipwreck resting at depths between twenty-five and forty-five metres, reserved for advanced divers. Shallower sites suit beginners and intermediates, with octopus, moray eels, groupers, scorpionfish, barracuda, and nudibranchs recorded across the sites. Most diving is by boat, though some sites allow shore entry, and operators are based in Ibiza.
