Ta' Ċenċ covers a group of sites on Gozo's southern and south-eastern coast beneath the island's high cliffs. The Ta' Ċenċ site itself combines a reef and wall system from the shallows to forty metres, with cave sections providing shelter for Mediterranean moray, scorpionfish, and European common cuttlefish. Fessej Rock is an offshore pinnacle that rises from sixty metres to within fifteen metres of the surface, suited only to advanced divers given the depth and potential surge. Mġarr ix-Xini is a sheltered bay with gradual sandy slopes, caves at accessible depths, and shore entry, making it one of the more forgiving sites in the area. Species across the region include barracuda, goldblotch grouper, flying gurnard, and blue runner.
