Marsalforn is a bay on Gozo's north coast with a range of sites that suit different experience levels. Marsalforn Bay itself is a shallow shore dive with a sandy and rocky bottom and patches of Posidonia seagrass, while Xwejni Bay nearby offers reef, cave, and wall terrain at beginner-friendly depths. Further out, Double Arch Reef presents two stacked arches between the twenties and upper thirties of metres for advanced divers who can manage strong currents. The Washing Machine, a drift site, demands solid buoyancy control. Species recorded across the area include goldblotch grouper, slipper lobster, giant moray, flying gurnard, and common octopus.

Surface temperatures are cool in winter and spring, typically in the mid-teens, then rise strongly through summer to the mid-to-upper twenties by late summer. The warmest conditions last from around June through October, giving comfortable diving without heavy exposure protection.
