Reqqa and Double Arch covers a stretch of Gozo's west and north-west coast where the topography is consistently dramatic. Reqqa Point is a wall dive that drops from just below the surface to sixty metres, with caves cutting into the reef face and moderate currents that can run along the wall. Billingshurts Cave, near Reqqa Point, is a cavern system roughly one hundred and thirty-five metres long, entered at depth and traversable to a point where divers can surface inside. The Bottle takes things further for expert-level divers, with a steep drop-off and complex cave structures reaching the upper fifties of metres. Sites here are susceptible to heavy seas when north-westerly winds build. Species recorded include goldblotch grouper, spiny lobster, slipper lobster, and black scorpionfish.
