Lankan & Manta Point is defined by its cleaning stations, where Manta Ray gather reliably from May through November at sites such as Lankan Manta Point and Paradise Manta Point. The area blends reef walls, drift dives, caves and drop-offs across a spread of sites that suit beginners through to advanced divers. Lagoon Triggerfish, Giant Moray, Whitetip Reef Shark and Spotted Eagle Ray are consistently observed, while Napoleon Wrasse and Emperor Angelfish appear across the majority of sites.

Manta Ray are the headline attraction, gathering at cleaning stations between May and November. Beyond that, divers regularly observe Whitetip Reef Shark, Spotted Eagle Ray, Napoleon Wrasse and Hawksbill Sea Turtle. Whale Shark also feature among the area's signature species.
A good portion of the sites here are rated beginner-friendly, including Lhohifushi Corner, Lankan Beyru, Hudhuveli Beyru and Tri Mix. Gasfinolhu House Reef is even accessible from shore. More advanced sites such as Hudhuranfushi House Reef and Lankan Caves involve stronger currents and greater depths, so those are better suited to experienced divers.
The vast majority of sites are boat-access only, and two operators serve the area: DivePoint Hudhuran Fushi I Pelagic Diving Maldives and a local dive centre on Huraa. Lhohifushi Corner can also be entered from shore, and Gasfinolhu House Reef is a dedicated shore dive, offering a small number of options without a boat.
The area offers considerable variety: reef walls, drift dives, drop-offs and cave systems all feature across the sites. Lankan Caves includes overhangs and a series of wall caves, while One Palm Finolhu offers coral blocks and a sandy bottom for a more relaxed experience. That range means the area holds interest across multiple dives.
