The Radama Archipelago sits in the Mozambique Channel off northwestern Madagascar and forms part of the Sahamalaza-Iles Radama UNESCO Biosphere Reserve. Access is by boat only, departing from the Nosy Be area, and the remoteness of the sites means most divers reach them by liveaboard or private charter. The two sites in our database illustrate the range on offer: Greg's Wall is a deep structure of wall, pinnacle, and cave descending well beyond recreational limits, while Baramahamay is a shallower reef suitable for beginners. The species list spans scalloped hammerheads, silvertip sharks, green sea turtles, sailfish, and a varied cast of reef life including painted frogfish and chromodoris nudibranchs.
