Nosy Tanikely is a protected marine park island in the Nosy Be Archipelago, reached by a short boat ride from Nosy Be. Six sites cover reef, wall, drift, drop-off, and wreck terrain, spanning shallow snorkelling depths to thirty metres, so divers from beginner to intermediate level will find appropriate sites. The island's protected status keeps the reef in good condition, and species recorded here include green sea turtles, whale sharks, bluespotted fantail rays, bluefin trevally, batfish, and a variety of nudibranchs. With fifteen operators based in the area, this is one of the better-served sub-regions of northern Madagascar.
