Jounieh Bay sits north of Beirut and is sheltered enough to allow reliable boat access throughout the diving season. The three sites in our database split neatly between advanced and beginner levels. The Alice B and Souffleur are both deep wreck dives requiring advanced certification, resting at depths that demand wreck and nitrox qualifications. Palapas Shore Dive offers shallow reef and wreck terrain accessible from the shore, suitable for newer divers. Species recorded here include common octopus, European spiny lobster, gorgonians, common seahorse, and John Dory. Summer is the preferred season, with water temperatures warmest from mid-summer through early autumn.
