Batroun sits on the eastern Mediterranean coast and offers one of Lebanon's most varied dive menus in a compact stretch of water. Sites range from the shallow reef at Byblos, suited to beginners, through to Bubbles Cliff, a deep wall that demands drift-diving skills and precise buoyancy. The Cement Wreck provides an artificial reef at mid-range depth, while Cathedral Cave and Ras Chekka add cave and canyon terrain to the mix. Resident species include goldblotch grouper, common octopus, European spiny lobster, gorgonians, and common seahorse. Several operators are based in Batroun itself, with others in Jbail and Tripoli.
