La Gomera sits in the North Atlantic Ocean and offers boat-access diving along volcanic walls, reefs, and drop-offs. The two sites in our database, Cala Cantera and Roque de Iguala, cover a wide depth range and suit both beginners and advanced divers. Water temperature stays warm year-round, and visibility can reach up to thirty metres. The island has a reputation for quieter diving than neighbouring islands in the Canary archipelago, and the waters are a recognised Whale Heritage Site, with green sea turtles, common octopus, trumpetfish, yellowtail parrotfish, and nudibranchs all recorded here.
