The Glendun Wreck area sits in the Irish Sea off the east coast of the Isle of Man, near Maughold Head. The two sites here, the Glendun Wreck itself and the Iron Pier, cover a shallow depth range suited to beginner divers, with the wreck resting between eight and twelve metres and the Iron Pier combining natural reef with artificial structure. The boiler rises prominently from the seabed and can be spotted from the surface, while the broken hull offers a relaxed exploration suited to newer divers. Visibility typically runs five to ten metres, and species recorded here include conger eel, wrasse, dogfish, catshark, and harbour seal.
