Sevastopol sits on the south-western Crimean coast and offers Black Sea diving across three recorded sites: a former underground submarine base now serving as an artificial reef, a mixed reef and wreck site, and the Agnes Blaikie, a deep wreck resting at the lower limit of technical recreational diving. The range of depths across these sites is broad, from very shallow to beyond eighty metres, and skill requirements vary accordingly. Shore and boat entries are both in use. The area around Balaklava is the operational hub, with five operators based between Balaklava and Sevastopol itself.
