Saros Bay, centred on the İbrice sub-area, is defined almost entirely by its wrecks. From shallow, beginner-friendly sites like the Water Ship Wreck and Lundy to the deep Captain Franco Wreck reserved for advanced divers, there is a clear progression of challenge across the bay. Reef and wall diving at Minnos and the cave-and-artificial-reef variety of Komur Limani round out the mix. The European Common Cuttlefish is the signature resident, alongside Conger Eel, Monkfish, Scorpionfish, and Sea Slug. All sites are boat-accessed, except Komur Limani and Ibrice Limani, which also allow shore entry.

Water temperature climbs steadily from cool spring conditions into warm summer peaks, making the warmer months the most comfortable for extended dives. Visibility is at its best from late spring through early autumn, which aligns well with the peak season. The Mesudiye Wreck adds a drift element that divers should factor into planning, and the deeper sites demand attention to conditions at depth.

In the warm season (about 26°C) a 3mm full suit is comfortable in Saros Bay; in the coldest months (about 13°C) step up to a 7mm or semi-dry suit.

The European Common Cuttlefish is the standout resident and encountered across sites throughout the bay. Conger Eel, Monkfish, Scorpionfish, and Salema Porgy are also very commonly observed, along with Sea Slug and Sponge. Catshark and Groupers have been recorded at a smaller number of sites.
Several sites in Saros Bay are rated for beginners, including the Water Ship Wreck, Lundy, Minnos, Komur Limani, and Ibrice Limani. These offer a manageable range of depths and straightforward conditions. Intermediate and advanced divers are catered for by the Mesudiye Wreck and the deep Captain Franco Wreck respectively.
The majority of sites in Saros Bay are boat-access only, which is typical of wreck diving in this area. Komur Limani and Ibrice Limani are the exceptions, both offering shore or boat entry. Divers should plan accordingly, particularly as there are currently no listed operators in the data, so arranging boat access in advance is advisable.
İbrice is the sole sub-area and contains all sites in Saros Bay. Wrecks are the dominant site type, ranging from upright, shallow vessels to deep cargo ships. Alongside these, Minnos provides reef and wall diving, while Komur Limani and Ibrice Limani combine natural reef, cave, and artificial reef structures for a more varied experience.
