The Monastir and Mahdia region in central coastal Tunisia currently has two sites in our database, both wrecks diveable from a boat. Depths are shallow, staying within the low teens in metres, and both sites are rated as suitable for beginner divers. The Napoli, a former passenger vessel, rests at a consistent depth near Hammamet, while Le Corridor de la Mort offers a similarly accessible wreck experience. Marine life recorded across the region includes common octopus, gorgonians, red coral, snake eels, slipper lobster, and mantis shrimp. Several dive operators are based across Monastir, Mahdia, and Port el Kantaoui.
