Frégate Island sits in the inner Seychelles, with boat-access reef diving at two sites reaching depths between twenty-two and thirty metres, suited to intermediate divers. The topography is coral reef, and species recorded include green sea turtles, nurse sharks, grey nurse sharks, common octopus, oriental sweetlips, and gorgonians. Conditions vary, with currents and surface boat traffic requiring attention. Water temperatures are warmest from March to May and drop slightly in the mid-year months.
