Rudnaya Pristan sits on the Sea of Japan in northern Primorye and offers two boat-access sites, Langou and Magnitka, covering natural reef and artificial reef structures at depths between seven and seventeen metres. The species list is rich for cold-water ocean diving: giant Pacific octopus, king crab, bobtail squid, skate, monkfish, gurnard, and plumose anemone are all recorded. Water temperature data shows a cold sea that barely reaches the mid-teens in the warmest months and drops to near freezing in winter, so drysuit experience is essential. Research notes that the area is subject to weather fluctuations, rough seas, and fog, and it is considered a destination for experienced divers despite the sites being listed as beginner-graded.
