Eforie and Costinesti offer two shore-entry Black Sea dives in the shallow range, both suited to beginners. The Costinesti wreck sits in six to eight metres of water, and the Eforie reef reaches twelve metres at its deepest. Visibility at both sites is typically around five metres. Water temperature follows the wider coastal pattern: cold from winter through spring, warming through summer, with the warmest surface water in July and August. Six dive operators are based across Eforie Nord, Eforie Sud, and nearby Cumpana, making this a well-supported stretch of coast for new divers.
