Depths across the area stay within a beginner-to-intermediate range. Species recorded here include green sea turtles, bluespotted fantail rays, batfish, sergeant majors, nudibranchs, snake eels, and Valentini pufferfish. Water temperature follows the strong Arabian Gulf seasonal pattern, cool in the winter months and very warm in summer.
