Doha is the primary base for diving in Qatar, sitting on the Arabian Gulf with boat and shore-accessible sites spread along the nearby coastline. The seven sites in our database include natural reef at Othmans Reef and Zeitoune Bank, artificial structures built from concrete reef balls and sunken objects at New Club Reef and The Barge, and wrecks including the deep Pericles Wreck at around thirty-five metres. Skill levels range from beginner-friendly shallow sites to advanced overhead environments. Temperatures dip to their lowest in February, which is comfortable for those who find very warm water unpleasant, then climb to their highest in late summer when thick tropical exposure suits are unnecessary but heat management matters. From October through May, visibility and surface conditions tend to be at their best, and most operators run their busiest schedules during this period.
