Jubail's dive sites lie in the Arabian Gulf and centre on the waters around Jana Island, roughly twenty kilometres offshore. The six sites in our database include two wrecks, natural and artificial reefs, a pinnacle, a drop-off, and The Wall, a vertical reef descending to forty-five metres. Fanateer Reef near Jubail itself can be reached directly from the shore. The mix of sites suits beginners and intermediate divers, and both boat and shore entry are available. Visibility varies, running from five metres on the shallower reefs to thirty metres on the cleaner offshore sites.

Water temperatures in Jubail's section of the Arabian Gulf are at their coolest in late winter, dipping to around eighteen or nineteen degrees Celsius, so a five-millimetre wetsuit is advisable from roughly November through April. Summer months push temperatures well above thirty degrees. The Jana wrecks sit in moderate to strong unpredictable currents and are better suited to intermediate divers despite the generally beginner-friendly character of the area.
