Shallow, beginner-friendly spots like Sunset Beach sit alongside purpose-built training environments such as Nemo Training Site. The signature marine life here leans toward rays and large animals: Green Sea Turtle and Guitarfish are observed across virtually every site, with Blacktip Reef Shark making occasional appearances. Water is warmest from summer into early autumn, while cooler months draw the highest diver activity.

In the warm season (about 34°C) a rash guard or 3mm shorty is comfortable in Dubai; in the coldest months (about 22°C) step up to a 3mm full suit.
