Pamilacan Island lies off Panglao in the Bohol Sea and is reached by boat from the mainland. Its seven sites cover a broad range of terrain, from shallow reef gardens and an artificial reef through to walls and drift dives reaching forty metres. Currents can shift quickly, particularly at Snake Island and the main island site, making those dives better suited to intermediate or advanced divers, though shallower spots are accessible to beginners. The island's protected sanctuary features large hard and soft corals, and recorded species include green sea turtles, hawksbill sea turtles, sea kraits, nudibranchs, barracuda, and bluefin trevally. Manta rays and whales have also been reported in the area.
