Rihiveli and Kudarah anchor the southern end of South Malé Atoll and together cover one of the most varied site-type collections in the region: reef, wall, cave, drift, pinnacle, drop-off, wreck, and artificial reef are all represented. Rihiveli Faru and Coral Faru offer shore-entry options, while the deeper sites including Kudarah and Rani Corner require boat access and suit intermediate divers comfortable with currents that can shift to strong during tidal changes. Depths run from five to thirty metres. Species recorded include whitetip reef sharks, Napoleon wrasse, giant moray, day octopus, Maldives damselfish, bluefin trevally, and honeycomb grouper.
