Qaruh Island is the furthest of Kuwait's offshore dive destinations, sitting thirty-seven and a half kilometres from the mainland and reached by boat from Khiran. The single recorded site here combines reef and drift diving across a depth range of three to thirty-three metres, with an average around fifteen metres. Moderate currents run through the site, and visibility spans five to twenty metres. Whale sharks, green sea turtles, blacktip reef sharks, and a range of invertebrates including gorgonians and slipper lobsters have been recorded here. The site is listed as suitable for beginners and supports night diving.
