Mecsek offers a single recorded freshwater dive site at Erdosmecske, near Pécsvárad. The site is shallow, with depths between six and nine metres, and features a wall structure in a current-free environment. Visibility runs to around five metres, and a torch helps when examining the wall in detail. Conditions are stable and the site is suited to beginners working on buoyancy. Shore entry is the only access point.
