Fort-Liberté sits on Haiti's Atlantic north coast and offers intermediate-level diving across two distinct sites. Liberty Wall drops from twelve metres to forty metres along a natural wall with an artificial reef component, and visibility there can reach an exceptional one hundred metres. Fort Labouque is a shallower site, topping out at fifteen metres, though visibility here is more variable and can drop with little warning. Water temperatures are warm throughout the year. Species recorded include trumpetfish, yellowtail parrotfish, Atlantic goliath grouper, nurse sharks, and green sea turtles. Divers typically access sites by hiring a local boat from the town of Fort-Liberté, and two dive operators serve the area.
