Côte des Arcadins sits along the Gulf of Gonâve, on Haiti's west coast, and is the country's primary diving hub. Water temperatures are warm year-round, rarely requiring more than a thin wetsuit, and visibility at sites such as Ile de Arcadins consistently reaches thirty metres. The two sites in our database range from shallow beginner-friendly reef at around ten metres to the deep artificial and natural structures at Saint Marc Beach, which descend well beyond recreational limits and demand careful planning. Divers report green sea turtles, whale sharks, West Indian manatees, and garden eels, alongside more common reef species such as blue tangs and Caribbean spiny lobster. Conditions are calmest and visibility most reliable from December through April.
