Champagne's dive sites are entirely freshwater and shore-entry, spread across lakes, reservoirs, and one technical cave. Lac d'Orient and Seine Reservoir Lake offer artificial reef structures at accessible depths for beginners and intermediate divers, while the Douix de Châtillon cave system is an overhead environment suited to experienced and technical divers only. Visibility varies considerably across the region and conditions should be checked before each visit. All sites sit within a depth range manageable without specialist equipment at the shallower venues.
