The Gulf of Porto and Scandola region offers Mediterranean diving shaped by red granite topography, with sites featuring reefs, walls, canyons, and cave systems. All six sites in our database lie within or immediately adjacent to the Scandola Nature Reserve, and visibility at sites such as Scandola itself and Capo Rosso regularly reaches thirty metres. Depths range from shallow beginner-friendly snorkelling to walls dropping to around fifty-five metres for advanced divers. Water temperatures stay above fourteen degrees in winter and climb into the low-to-mid twenties in summer. Most sites are accessible only by boat.
