The Brothers Islands lie well offshore in the central Red Sea and are accessible only by liveaboard. All sites are rated for advanced divers, and the conditions explain why: strong and variable currents run along steep walls and drift sites, with depths at Big Brother East and Big Brother South dropping sharply past thirty metres. Big Brother carries both a wreck and extensive wall topography, while Little Brother and Small Brothers offer reef and wall diving with visibility that can reach forty metres or more. Oceanic whitetip sharks appear regularly, and silvertip sharks are also recorded. Night dives are not permitted at the islands.
