Vysočina's dive sites are flooded quarries and freshwater lakes scattered across the region, served by operators based around Skuteč. Shore entry is standard across all six sites, with depths spanning from shallow beginner-friendly areas down to thirty-four metres at the deepest. Conditions vary: visibility ranges from poor to reasonably clear depending on the site and season, and cold water persists year-round, making thermal protection essential. Artificial reef structures feature at several sites, giving divers fixed points of interest within otherwise open freshwater basins. The species list is rich for an inland region, with wels catfish, pike, burbot, European eel, and the rarely encountered freshwater jellyfish all recorded here.
