The two dive sites in the Moravian Karst area are flooded quarries near Blansko and Šošůvka, both accessible from the shore and rated for beginners. Depths are modest, reaching eighteen metres at the deeper of the two sites. Blansko lom u trati features an artificial reef and still water with no current, making it a practical location for buoyancy practice. Sosuvka is shallower still, with a consistent depth profile and visibility around five metres; a torch is useful here even during daylight dives. The freshwater species list includes pike, wels catfish, burbot, and European eel. Several operators based in Brno serve the area.
