Cayo Largo del Sur is a small island in the Canarreos Archipelago off Cuba's Caribbean coast, and all diving here is reached by boat. The four sites in the database cover a wide range of terrain for an isolated destination: reefs, walls, drop-offs, canyons, caves, drift dives, and a wreck, with depths reaching forty-five metres. Visibility is often high, and the calm conditions generally suit beginner divers. Whale sharks, nurse sharks, Atlantic goliath grouper, and several turtle species appear in the species records.
